Boardroom Services
EOLIS's Boardroom Advisory Services was an outgrowth of an assignment dating back to 1971 with Wendeen's unlikely appointment as an advisor to the Chair and Vice-Chair of Caesars and its newly created public company's Board of Directors.
Beginning in the late 80s, EOLIS occasionally did public company board searches. The practice was grown, initially, through the Company's established capabilities to vet lawyers and law firms for special counsel roles for Boards of Directors seeking counsel changes and additions.
By 2010 EOLIS was ready to roll out EOLIS International Group's Boardroom Advisory Services, first concentrating on attorney talent as potential Board Directors. EOLIS was a bit ahead of its time but unrelenting as advocates for lawyers on boards.
The Company began to grow important relationships with CEOs and Nom-Gov Chairs in large public companies. In doing so, the expansion of EOLIS's Boardroom Advisory Services for Leadership Talent was a natural and important outgrowth of our boardroom matters connected to the legal profession.
In 2010 we added a new division for EOLIS at Wendeen Eolis Enterprises, EOLIS Boardroom Services for Leadership Talent. Its purpose was to expand our complement of board directorship matters and our career transition assignments to serve leadership talent seeking to "play bigger" and to take on a wider range of searches and vetting assignments for public company boards.
As an advisor to CEOs, Board chairs, and nom/gov committees, Wendeen Eolis Enterprises is accustomed to identifying and presenting top-level talent with suitable "chemistry" for the particular board.
The Company's work in the boardroom has been recognized in mainstream, legal, and boardroom publications, The New York Times, Bloomberglawnews.com, and boardroomintelligence.com among others. EOLIS is well-known as an advocate of talented lawyers and corporate leaders for boards; guiding the best and the brightest into initial boardroom service and advising experienced directors in their journey to the top as professional directors.
